Eleanor Harendza Passes Away in Ohio

Eleanor M. Harendza, 84, of Centerville, OH, formerly of Ewing, NJ, and Johnsonburg, PA, died Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016. Mrs. Harendza had lived in Centerville, OH, for the past 12 years. She lived in the Trenton, NJ, area and worked as a teacher in the Trenton school system from 1957 to 1991. Mrs. Harendza is survived by her husband of 50 years, Guenter Harendza; a son, Kurt Harendza and his wife, Shannon; a daughter, Heidi Harendza, and three grandchildren, Max, Benjamin, and Holly Harendza. Visitation will be at the Anthony Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg, PA, on Monday, Feb. 15, 2016, from 6 - 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg, PA, on Wednesday at 10 a.m.

Eleanor and her husband Gueter, have been long time members of the Polish Arts Club.  Since moving to Ohio, Eleanor and Guenter have made the trek east every year to attend the Polonaise Ball.  The Polish Arts Club extends our heartfelt sympathy to Guenter and their family. Eleanor will be missed by all.
